Connie is someone I trust explicitly. She's experienced and knows all the ins and outs. She's very personable and easy to work with.
I began my Real Estate career January 2008 with Irongate Realtors and continue to this day. I am a member of the local Dayton Area Board, the state, Ohio Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. After 28 years with the Jewish Hospital, it was time for a change. Originally from northern Ky, I bought houses and did "Flips" before this term came into being. My first home purchased at the age of 20 was for $13,200. You can't even buy a new car at that price now. This was almost gutted and was sold 4 years later to the first person I showed it to. After my first purchase, I bought another and "Flipped" this. At the age of 24, I built a home and raised two daughters who attended Dixie Heights High School, which is also where my father graduated from many years prior. In the year 2000, I purchased a new home that was built for the market. In 2006 I moved to Ohio where I built another new home. In 2016, myself along with 3 others purchased a home in Kettering which would become an investment for us. A month of renovation (not heard of now) and we had our first renter who is still there to this day. In 2019 another purchase;this time, a 20 year old home which we wanted to update. So for the past 2 years I have been arranging meetings with businesses for tile work, carpet, fireplace installation, painting, roofing, irrigation, landscaping, and finally to the decorating stage. In my spare time, I volunteer for an animal rescue group, Luv4k9s which when needed, I foster Bernese Mt. Dogs. Owning two of my own, you can usually find me walking in my neighborhood several times a day teaching the new foster how to behave on a lease and in public. Most of these dogs have spent a great deal of time in a puppy mill and only living in a cage. Starting from the beginning with training in all aspects can be chalenging when they are several years old and don't even have a name. Over the past 4 years, I have fostered over 14 Berners. I also love to work in the yard, flower beds, and cook.
I am not only an AGENT, I am someone who can associate with the changes that BUYERS and SELLERS have had to deal with over the last 20 years. If you are thinking about selling and buying, why not choose an agent who has the experience to guide you to get your home ready for market, guide you through your offers (we now get multiple offers) and help you every step of the way to your new home.
